For many years I have wondered where does all of the NCAA money come from and go.  The Hundreds of millions generated yearly.  A friend of mine emailed this video to me.  Check out this PBS Story.  http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/money-and-march-madness/?utm_campaign=viewpage&utm_medium=grid&utm_source=grid I included a preview below.

From the couch of FES

"Bedlam", the rivalry between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, has not been much of a match-up recently with Oklahoma winning the last 7 meetings by an average of 22 points per game. This game brings a different angle this time though. The winner of the game earns a spot in the Big 12 championship, new territory for this game.

Oklahoma Sooners @ Oklahoma State Cowboys
8:00 PM Game Time Record Line Betting Trend
Teams Win-Loss Streak Open Current Spread Money O/U
183 Oklahoma (9-2) (2-2 A) W-2 67 31% 89% 76%
184 Oklahoma State (10-1) (5-1 H) W-4 -2.5 69% 11% 24%

Oklahoma has lived at the Big 12 championship while Oklahoma St. has never been. One disturbing trend I've noticed is the way Oklahoma has played on the road the past 2 years, they don't play at all. They are traveling this time into an environment that I think wants it a little more than they do this time around. Take Oklahoma St.

Once again the ever controversial Bowl Championship Series Poll has been released, But does it mean anything yet?  Here is the skinny.

From the couch of FES:
For those of you that play office pools or gamble every week on college football, I have definately developed a pattern that may help you for the next two months, bad in college and good in pros.
Well if I can help my readers through losing then my job is complete but enough of that. The game that was circled on the schedule almost a year ago but it is not the one in conference this year that I'm most excited about and that is Alabama - Florida. Did the SEC have their chance to dethrone Alabama? I think so. Arkansas could have done such but decided to flush that opportunity right down the toilet.
Florida Gators @ Alabama Crimson Tide
8:00 PM Game Time Record Line Betting Trend
Teams Win-Loss Streak Open Current Spread Money O/U
171 Florida (4-0) (1-0 A) W-4 48 46% 47% 24%
172 Alabama (4-0) (2-0 H) W-4 -7 -8 54% 53% 76%

Keep in mind last year when Alabama should have lost (Tennessee, Auburn), they followed with dominating performances in LSU and Florida. Florida has two chances to win this game, slim and none. Alabama will not fall asleep at the wheel two weeks in a row if history prevails.
Other games to play against the number this week: Oklahoma, NC St, Iowa St, Indiana, Stanford, and Washington.
