For the 20th year, the Baldwin County Humane Society (BARC!) was the charity of choice for Paws Meet Claus at Magnolia Small Animal Clinic in Foley on December 10, 2011.

The pet photo fundraiser was a collaboration of these generous people:  Peter Greer who has volunteered as Santa for 11 years and Beth Waltrip with KodaChromeGirl.com who has volunteered her time and expertise with set design and photography for several years.

Dr Lee Ann McGill donated the entire $1,000 proceeds to the no-kill adoption agency (rather than a shelter) that was established in 1979.

“Dr McGill, her staff, volunteers Santa and the photographer, all embody the true spirit of giving this holiday season” remarked Sonja Presley, BARC! Executive Director.  “Their collective efforts along with 50 people who came for pet portraits will allow us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome more dogs and cats.”
